Centerpiece options and how to know what’s right for you!

Bud vases, talls, compote arrangements, candles… So many different options for your floral centerpieces how do you know what will work best?

Lets go through a few different arrangements:

Tall Wedding Centerpiece

First up we have the Talls! These are going to work great if your venue has high ceilings and you feel like you have a lot of space to fill. They make a big big statement, they also help to cut the room up, or draw attention to a specific area, like around your dance floor!

Trio of bud vases

Bud Vases- If your trying to fill 20 tables but you keep going over your desired budget, try switching out half your tables with a bud vase trio! This keeps florals on every table and they look great with a couple votives sprinkled in or just as themselves.

Standard Centerpiece

Next up, the standard centerpiece option! This is a simple vase arrangement, typically made in a 5×5 clear glass vase. These are great if your reusing your florals for the Sunday brunch, or if your letting guest take them home. Like I stated with the bud vases, this would be a great option for a big guest list so you could do half standards and half bud vases on the tables. The simple vase keeps these budget friendly, and usually your florist will have a tried and true recipe that keeps these fast and simple!

Pin frog Centerpieces

An unique option would be the pin frog arrangements. These have been trending the last couple of years and I love them. They work so well for long family style tables, or if you have a mix of rectangle and round tables and want a fresh design for each. These can be kept small like above, or you can make them pretty large, like mini meadows, they are very design forward and add tons of interest for your guest to enjoy while they are sitting down.

Compote vase centerpiece

Finally we have the compote vase arrangement. These are the most popular option for weddings. They add a romantic feel to each table and really lend themselves to a flower forward event. Because the vase is lifted it really demands the guests to notice and appreciate the gorgeous blooms, and if you want lots of candlelight these work really well with a trio of pillar candle or taper candles in mixed heights. These are typically on the more expensive side because the vases are pricey and they need a lot of florals to fill them out.
